#1 Regret About Realtors

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

As real estate attorneys, there’s nothing more than we love than to see our client’s cross the finish line and successfully reach the closing table without a hiccup along the way.

However, we see the ugly side of real estate too.

We get the calls from the clients who blow deadlines and have no more contingencies to get out the deal.

We’ve met with buyers who were advised by their realtor to do X and have it blow up in their face.

The #1 regret our clients tell us about their realtor is that they wish they understood what a big deal the process was.

The home buying/selling process has become SO easy. You can search for homes from the comfort of your home and you can go under contract without ever picking up a pen.
Docusign makes it so easy to just - click, click, click - through the contract without ever reading its contents.

Like clicking accept on the latest iPhone update or “I agree to Facebooks terms of service.”

It’s so easy it almost doesn’t seem real. Like the contract isn’t something that someone could actually hold them accountable to or be enforced.

However, when things go south, that contract - the good, the bad, the ugly - is going to be enforced in court.

Our Mantra

Our mantra at The Galam Firm is “Be Proactive, Not Reactive.”

We want to work with you before things go south and prevent the legal headaches from ever happening.

We want your home buying/selling process to be so seamless you can’t stop raving about it and re-share the closing day selfies with you year after year as one of the easiest, happiest days of their lives.

Maintain Your Lane

If you feel like you’re going to toe the line by giving legal advice to your clients, hold up! Your license is worth WAY more than the quick mistake of answering your client’s legal question.

If you have an issue pop up during the home sales process, connect your client with an experienced New Jersey real estate attorney. We suffered through 3 years of law school just for these types of situations.
